Located on the northwest side of Chicago, encompassing both the Hermosa and Kelvyn Park neighborhoods, Hermosa remains best known for staying true to its quiet, community-oriented feel. Unlike surrounding areas that have drastically changed in large part due to development, Hermosa has progressed while remaining a community-centered neighborhood. Today, Hermosa is well known for its many independently owned casual restaurants, cafes, and outdoor recreational spaces, as well as for its strong sense of togetherness, and proximity to transportation and the downtown area.
